STUDIO T1X – YOUR CREATIVE PLAYGROUND
Welcome to STUDIO T1X, where creativity takes center stage! We’re pumped to have you use our space, but let’s keep it fabulous and functional for everyone. Rules? Yep, we’ve got a few—think of them as the ultimate cheat sheet for an epic experience.
1. Booking & Payment – Lock It In
- Reservations made simple: Full payment is required to confirm your booking. While we don’t offer refunds, we’re happy to reschedule if you give us enough notice and per our calendar availability.
- When life is “lifing”: We get it—life happens! If you need to make changes, please let us know in advance. We are not able to reschedule no-shows.
2. Booking Rules & Overtime Charges
- Your studio time begins when the studio is accessed or at your scheduled booking start time (whichever comes first), and ends when the doors are shut and locked after your session (and the space has been tidied).
- Your reserved time includes setup, teardown, and proper stowing of studio equipment—please plan accordingly to ensure all equipment is returned to its designated place and that the studio is left tidy to maintain a consistent experience for the next creative, within the booked time – pretty please.
- Our access systems log studio entry and exit times and any overtime charge is automatically billed to the card on file for a seamless payment experience (or where a card was not used, an invoice sent to the booking party, payable 3-days from issuance).
- Photographers (or renters) must coordinate with and inform their clients about potential overtime charges, especially where the client is responsible for the booking, and vice versa.
- Overtime is billed at the standard hourly rate (i.e Regular rate or event rate) if you anticipate your shoot/event might need more time, we recommend increasing your session time at the time of booking, as additional time charged by the hour works out less cost-effective.
3. Time Matters
- What’s included in your booking time?: Your booking time covers all your pre and post-shoot activities including set up, tear down, tidying and stowing studio equipment. Please plan accordingly to have enough time within your booking for these activities.
- Early access might be a thing: With prior notice and approval, you may arrive up to 15 minutes early to prepare for your shoot. Arrivals more than 15 minutes before your scheduled time will incur an additional time charge.
- Wrap up like a pro: When you’re done, we’d appreciate it if you return furniture, props, and equipment to their original spots. A tidy space makes it great for the next creative project!
4. Damages
- Clients/renters are responsible for any damages caused to studio property during their session.
- Extensive marks or damage to the cyclorama will incur a repaint fee. (Repaint fees start at $250, where damage is extensive, it will have to be assessed and then charged).
- We have decided to waive security deposits for now, however in lieu of this, clients MUST use a chargeable card or a card that can be charged should there be overages or damages that need to be claimed. Proceeding with this booking means the client/booker acknowledges that they are required to retain a chargeable, non-expired card on file that can be charged without the need to reach out to the cardholder should they incure additional costs not limited to additional time.
5. Caring for Our Space
- Accidents happen: If damage occurs, the renter will be required to cover the cost of repairs or replacement. Let’s work together to keep the studio in top-notch condition!
- Moving things: Floor furnitures can be moved but must be returned to their original position to mantain the vibe for everyone. Wall decor on the other hand shall not be moved.
- When moving furniture or studio items, please ensure NOT to drag any studio equipments. We love to keep the space pristine, any substantial marks or damages will be covered by the renter.
- We respect our clients’ privacy and will have cameras only in public areas for additional safety. By continuing with your booking, you acknowledge and agree to our terms set forth.
6. A Few Things to Keep in Mind
(The Dont’s)
- The Cyclorama Wall is a special space—no shoes on it unless they’re essential for a photo and properly covered.
- Smoking, alcohol, or illegal substances are not permitted in the studio.
- While we welcome boudoir shoots, adult content is not allowed.
- Keep food and drinks away from the Cyc Wall to prevent spills and stains.
- No dragging of equipment across the floors to prevent damage.
7. Studio Equipment – Yours to Explore
- Most of our equipment is included in your rental, but certain items like Rapid Snap modifiers and studio lights are available as add-on for rent. Please refer to our Studio Features Page for the list of studio equipment as well as studio amenities.
- Handle with care: Use all equipment gently to avoid any accidental damage. Do NOT drag equipment across any of the studio floors.

- Our condominium complex is a great (private) community and we want to ensure that our activities do not interfere with the the experience of other owners within the facility.

kindly email the full event details to info@studiot1x.com. Our team will review your request and follow up to determine whether we’re able to accommodate your booking request.
For events requiring street parking, a designated traffic coordinator must be present for the duration of the event throughout to ensure neighboring tenant bays remain unobstructed.
Requests to utilize exterior spaces beyond the studio’s designated frontage will require approval from co-tenants and the board, with ample advance notice.
THE CYC WALL GUIDELINES (VERY IMPORTANT)
1. Specialty Shoots – No Cars without prior permission
- Bringing a vehicle into the studio requires prior written approval and will incur an additional fee starting at $150, depending on the vehicle’s size, type, and the nature of the production or shoot.
- Re-coloring of the cyclorama wall for client branding purposes or advertisement and large scale productions also requires prior written approval from Studio T1X and will attract the repaint fee depending on the scope of the project and extent for which a recoloring is required.
2. Footwear Rules
- We maintain a “No shoes in Studio” policy and No shoes on the Cyclorama wall – however, where shoes are absolutely needed, they must be clean, new or covered to avoid extensive staining or damage to the cyclorama wall.
- Shoe covers are provided at the entrance of the studio.
- Depending on your booking, a $60 cleaning fee may apply (for Studio A and B use), or $120 for larger productions using the full studio. Please note that this fee is waived if the studio is left in pristine condition.
- Damage deposits are not applied at this time provided the client maintains a chargeable card on file for any accrued additional charges.
3. Food & Drinks
- To avoid spillage and any damage to the cyclorama floor, there is to be no eating or drinking on the white floor except this is part of the shoot/production.
4. Moving Props & Equipment
- Please avoid dragging props or heavy equipment across the wall—this helps prevent scratches and wear. Most of our props have wheels or protective padding. Where absent, a dolly is available in the studio for moving equipment to prevent damage.
5. Damage and Repairs
- The client is liable for any damages but we are willing to work with the client to find the best solution in such situations.
6. Keep at least two feet from the curve
- The curved area of the cyc wall consists of re-enforced drywall, however, it could get punctured when shoes are worn on it – we recommend to not stand in the curve and to keep at least two feet away from the curve to avoid damage.
LEGAL STUFF – A Few Formalities
Indemnification – Staying Safe Together
- While we strive to provide a safe and supportive space, STUDIO T1X cannot be held liable for accidents, injuries, or damages during your rental. By booking, you agree to these terms and take full responsibility for your session.
